Cyrena is a holistic health and breath-work coach, with a focus on high-stress and high-performance individuals. Cyrena’s coaching goal is to help people to live more balanced andhealthy lives and in turn maximize their contribution to society. The definition of health in the21st century encapsulates more than just physical fitness: modern “good health” includesmental health, gut health and regulation of the nervous system to achieve overall bodywellness. Through maximising best health practices, we are able to cultivate cognitiveimprovements and perform at our peak.Born and raised in NYC, Cyrena graduated from Spence in 1986,Yale in 1990 and from theFletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University in 1995 with an M.A. inInternational Marketing and Negotiation. After graduating from Yale and Fletcher, Cyrenaworked as an advertising account executive with global firms including Young & Rubicam,Wunderman Cato Johnson and W.B. Doner in NYC, Boston, and London. Cyrena and herhusband have three adult daughters who were raised between London, New York, and Dubai.Through living and working in three global capitals, Cyrena witnessed executives operatingat their best, and also the burnout and addiction epidemic. In response, Cyrena pursued herhealth coach certification from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and Max Strom’s InnerAxis Breathing and Yoga Teacher Training to create a combined wellness practice that wouldaddress individual’s comprehensive health needs for longer term success. Cyrena is trained inholistic Swedish massage to integrate the healing power of touch in her skill portfolio.Cyrena also donates her time as a leader for Y12SR, a US non-profit that integrates theancient wisdom of yoga with the practical tools of 12-step programs. Cyrena offers bothvirtual and offline coaching which creates flexibility for clients to integrate wellness intotheir fast paced lives. Since beginning coaching, Cyrena has worked with individuals in U.K.politics, financial services, and education.Cyrena hopes to share with students how tapping into the resources we all have at ourdisposal — our body, our breath and the daily choices we make— will help to regulate thenervous and digestives systems to align both the physical and the mental thereby supportingacademic and professional performance.
